One of the ways to add contacts to iPresso’s database is to import them from a .CSV file.To do it, navigate to Contacts, then select Contacts import from the menu on the left. If you are performing the import for the first time, we recommend that you download Sample file. After having properly prepared the file in UTF-8 format, click Import.
If you use contact types, make sure that the data in your file are in line with the types that you are going to specify in the next step.
In the next step, select the Type of contacts which was mentioned above. You can also assign contacts to specific categories that had been created before, and add relevant tags.
The last two steps are file selection and Fields mapping. In the Fields mapping, select the Encoding of file as UTF-8. After having selected the appropriate contact attributes, navigate to Summary.
Green colour signifies that a field has been set up properly. Now, you can click Import. If any errors occur, iPresso allows you to download the file with contact that failed to be imported into the system. In the video below, you can also see instructions, how to import correctly.
