After configuring the Settings of your scenario, and selecting its target group, you can start building the path of communication.
Types of actions blocks
Action blocks are one of the elements from which marketing scenarios are built in iPresso.
You can choose from among the following blocks:
- Send email
- Send SMS
- Send voice message
- Send web push
- Send mobile push
- Send notification to Facebook Messenger
- Send notification to application
- Add category
- Remove category
- Add tags
- Remove tags
- Change contact's attribute
- Modify access to contacts
- Change of marketing agreement
- Add to scenario
- Delete contact
Send email
This block allows you to send an email message.
Configuration:
Clicking Save working copy causes the campaign to be selected but the item will not be marked as configured yet.
Clicking Save causes the element to be marked as configured (after all necessary elements have been correctly defined).
Add new - opens a wizard that will allow you to create a new campaign in the selected communication channel.
Note that if your campaign is not visible on the list of Sendings, then you probably had not selected the For scenarios option in that campaign.
The Scoring field will cause the system to add or subtract scoring points of a Contact moving through this block.
Configuration of all the other block that involve sending communications is analogous to the one described above.
Send Facebook Messenger message
If you want to use the Facebook Messenger scenario block, first you need to enable integration with Facebook Messenger in the iPresso Integration Center and configure the campaign sent via this channel in iPresso’s wizard.
In order to correctly configure your communications via Facebook Messenger, select a previously prepared campaign from the drop-down list.
Clicking Save working copy causes the campaign to be selected but the item will not be marked as configured yet.
Clicking Save causes the element to be marked as configured (after all necessary elements have been correctly defined).
Add new - opens a wizard that will allow you to create a new campaign in the selected communication channel.
Note that if your campaign is not visible on the list of Sendings, then you probably had not selected the For scenarios option in that campaign.

Send notification to application
This block allows you to send a notification to an application.
Configuration:
Provide the notification's name and select the relevant application from the expandable list.
Clicking Save working copy causes the application to be selected but the item will not be marked as configured yet.
Clicking Save causes the element to be marked as configured (after all necessary elements have been correctly defined).
The Scoring field will cause the system to add or subtract scoring points of a Contact moving through this block.
The fields to be configured may vary depending on the application you selected.
Add or Remove category
These blocks will allow you to add contacts to a category or to remove contact to a category.
Select the appropriate category from the drop-down list.
Clicking Save working copy causes the application to be selected but the item will not be marked as configured yet.
Clicking Save causes the element to be marked as configured (after all necessary elements have been correctly defined).
The Scoring field will cause the system to add or subtract scoring points of a Contact moving through this block.
Add or remove tags
These blocks will allow you to add or remove tags assigned to contacts.
Select the appropriate tag from the drop-down list.
Clicking Save working copy causes the application to be selected but the item will not be marked as configured yet.
Clicking Save causes the element to be marked as configured (after all necessary elements have been correctly defined).
The Scoring field will cause the system to add or subtract scoring points of a Contact moving through this block.
Change contact's attribute
This block allows you to change contacts' attributes
Configuration: select the attribute that you want to change from the expandable list.
You can either select a specific value to be entered instead of the previous one, or change the value by a specified value.
Modify access to contacts
This block allows you to change access settings to specific contacts.
Configuration:
Select what kind of modification you want to perform:
- Add - this will cause the access to be added.
- Delete - this will cause the access selected from the expandable list to be withdrawn.
- Overwrite - this will cause the access selected from the expandable list to be overwritten.
Change of marketing agreement
This block allows you to change the marketing permission of a contact.
Configuration:
Select the relevant permission from the expandable list, name the agreement, and modification type (Add or Delete).
Clicking Save working copy causes the application to be selected but the item will not be marked as configured yet.
Clicking Save causes the element to be marked as configured (after all necessary elements have been correctly defined).
The Scoring field will cause the system to add or subtract scoring points of a Contact moving through this block.
Add to scenario
From the drop-down list, select the scenario to which you want to add contacts moving through this block.
Only scenarios in which the method of contact addition has been configured as API are available here.

Delete contact
In this block you can also use the Delete related contacts. This will cause the deletion of the contact moving through this block, as well as all the related contacts.
