When working with marketing automation scenarios in iPresso, you can create their predefined templates. This way you won't have to create a scenario from scratch every time or by copying and editing completed or running ones, which can take a lot of time with elaborate schemes.
Creating a scenario template
There are two ways to create a scenario template - from the iPresso side panel or after preparing a scenario using the "Save as Template" button.
1: From the iPresso side panel
Go through the Automation > Scenarios > Templates tabs. After clicking Templates, use the Add button located in the upper right corner of the screen:
After using it, the standard screen for creating a scenario will appear. Fill in all the necessary fields in the Settings and Recipients tabs, and prepare the scenario template using the appropriate blocks.
Then go to the Summary tab to check that all elements are set correctly. If the fields are highlighted in green or yellow, then all scenario elements are filled in correctly.
Use the Save as template button:
NOTE!
If any of the fields above the Save and Save as Template buttons are red, it means that the scenario is not prepared correctly. You will still have the option to save the scenario as a template, but you should correct the incorrect settings before using it.
2: After creating a scenario
iPresso also gives you the option to save a template when you create a scenario in the standard way (through the Create New Scenario function). After filling in the appropriate fields, you will see the same Summary module as the one shown above with a Save as Template button. Clicking it will also add the scenario to the templates.
