In iPresso, thanks to the link monitoring functionality, it is possible to check the number of clicks on a specific link, to find the functionality you need to follow the path:
start -> system -> monitoring -> monitored links
How to start?
To monitor a specific link, click the "add" button, and then the system takes you to a window where you need to specify the link and optionally the tags, which can be consistent with the campaigns in which the link will be used.
Once the link is added, the system will generate a special link that should be placed in campaigns to collect information on clicks.
An example of use would be an email campaign in which we place the generated link, and then each click by a user is deferred in the clicks statistic and report.
Additional options
Additional click options after the link is created are:
- copying the monitored link generated by the system
- editing (only editing of tags and access to the element is possible)
- deletion of the link
Reports
In order to preview the statistics of clicks on a link, click the "report" button.
After going to the report view, the report will be displayed in graphical form for the indicated period. At the top of the view, there is a button to download the report as a csv file for the indicated period. The report shows two bars, clicks and clicks of recognized contacts the difference is that not every click has to be made by a recognized contact in iPresso.
Example: when posting a link in a webpush campaign that targets all people who have a token in the dispatch, there may be contacts who are not recognized in the iPresso panel or are not in the panel at all, and their clicks will be set aside only in the "clicks" post.
Note: A click on a link is a one-time loading of the monitored
Web page by the browser. The user's entry to the monitored
page through the specified link will be registered as one
page view. If the user uses the specified link,
it will be registered as another page view.
