Every e-mail dispatch includes a header and footer. We can use the default options, but we can also add our own. Headers and footers can be found under Content → Email Elements.
Headers
There is always one default header in the iPresso panel, which automatically appears in all new email creations. It is a link, to display the email in the browser.
The default header cannot be edited, but we can add our own. We will do this by going to Content → Email Elements → Headers. There we will see a list of all available headers. To add a new one, click "Add".
We can create our own header in a text editor, or using HTML. We can change a regular text editor to an HTML editor by clicking on the "document source" button. A mandatory element of the header is a link to display the email in the browser, which we can insert by selecting it from the "Fields to insert" list.
Footers
The operation of footers looks similar to how headers work. The footer must obligatorily contain a link to unsubscribe from the consent. There is always one default footer in the iPresso panel, which automatically appears in all new email creations.
The default footer can be edited and we can also add our own. We will do this by going to Content → Email Elements → Footers. There we will see a list of all available headers. To add a new one, we need to click "Add", and to edit an existing one, we select the "edit" button in the actions.
We can create or edit the footer in a text editor, or using HTML. We can change an ordinary text editor to an HTML editor by clicking on the "document source" button. A mandatory element of the footer is a link to cancel the subscription. Additional fields that can be inserted in the footer are an email to cancel subscription, a link to the profile page and a link to unsubscribe. We can insert these fields by selecting them from the "Fields to insert" list.
