The Theme Creator is a simple tool for creating ready-made, responsive templates that you can quickly and easily use in personalized email campaigns and popups. You can find it under the Content tab by following the below path: Start > Content > Theme Creator
Creating a theme
To prepare a template, create a custom theme first:
After entering the theme creation section, choose one of the graphic themes. This is a collection of email creations and popups which, after personalizing their appearance, will be saved as templates ready to be used in your creations:
Lite allows you to create a theme for two email creations templates and one side-popup template.
Classic gives you the possibility to create a theme for two email templates and two popup templates - placed centrally and on the side.
To set the appearance of the theme, first complete the necessary fields and adjust the basic settings:
Name - can be visible only to users logged into the system.
Description - it will give the user quick details about the theme and its usage.
Font - allows you to choose the font that will be the default for all templates of this theme.
Colors - you can choose the leading color or colors for all templates and creations.
Language - if the templates consist predefined phrases, you can choose the language into which they will be translated., you can choose the language it will be translated to.
Fields marked with * indicate that their setting is mandatory.
Once you set it up, scroll down to get to the settings of specific template types. In the blocks placed on the left side of the screen, you can personalize the button colors, the additional color, and select the logo of the email template, along with the additional color, the link color, and the logo of the popup template. The image uploaded as a logo can have a maximum size of 400 KB.
You can save your logo in PNG or JPEG format. If you choose to save your logo as a JPEG, if a section of your workspace remains unfilled, Resizer will ask you to set a background color for the image. If you save the file as PNG, this option will not appear - transparency will be retained:
Once you have set all the options, click the Save button placed in the top right corner.
Once you have saved the theme, you can immediately go on to create a mailing from email templates or popup templates:
The Create campaign button will take you directly to the settings for the appropriate email mailing, and the Create popup button will take you to the Actions on site settings.
All available themes can be found in the Theme Creator under the Themes tab:
Once clicked, the system will take you to the panel of available themes:
From here, you can edit and delete your themes.
Note that editing pre-made themes reflects on the templates created from those themes. However, it does not affect the creations made from the templates. Similarly, in the case of the delete option - deleting a theme will delete related templates, but not the email creations and popups that were created from them.
The themes panel also allows you to search for themes by ID or Name. To use this feature, click the icon and additional fields will slide out:
After entering the appropriate data - click search.
In order to use ready-made templates once creating particular creations, follow the instructions for creating an e-mail message or a popup creation. The templates can be found in the Saved templates tab:
