Feed Manager is a place in iPresso where you can collect data about your products, content and other elements in order to use them for personalization of communication or recommendations (e.g. for a group selected from segmentation).
The most important benefits of using Feed Manager are:
- personalization of communication based on a specific product or customer offer,
- automation of data retrieval,
- standardization of product and content data across integrated platforms, systems, applications,
- use of the same data from feeds from one place in many communication channels, which ensures consistency in products - each channel will have the same information,
- creation of personalized content tailored to the unique needs of various groups.
A better-tailored offer that reaches the end customer will translate into more sales, conversions, and credibility for your brand.
In the previous 'inspiration' we have focused on the physical products offered in an online store. However, the Feed Manager is a tool with much more possibilities! It can also be used to advertise all sorts of content - courses and trainings, webinars, articles, blog articles, reports, reviews in text and audiovisual form, broadcasts, and streams... Practically anything you can publish on the Internet!
So in this inspiration, we will focus on promoting content - online courses and trainings. If you would like to tailor their promotion to the needs of your customer groups, Feed Manager comes to the rescue here as well. As in the case of physical products, first, think about which courses/trainings are likely to attract specific groups of your customers and select them in iPresso using segmentation. Consider that each customer (contact in your iPresso) may be in several segments. Their activities recorded in the history of the contact manager can help with the appropriate selection - visited pages which you manage and monitor, filled forms and/or surveys... The number of possibilities is very wide.
The next step is to add the features of your courses. In our feed we have added: the name of the course, its price, date, number of free places and a link to the course:
These can also be features of the course, such as its subject matter, e.g. health care, media and marketing, psychology, etc. This will make it easier for you to match the right course to your audience's interests.

The next step is to add products and save your feed:
This allows you to highlight in a mailing or sms those training courses which price is attractive or which take place soon, and there are still free places available to your customers.
Now, all you have to do is to select the courses based on their features and promote them among the segmented groups of contacts. Or, as we call it in iPresso - create data sets.
